I feel extremelyyyyyyyy happy. For once I don't care about drama or anything associated with it. This week things happened that if they had happened two weeks ago or even last year, I would have reacted differently...and I'm thankful that I'm growing as a person and learning to see that in life I am the ONLY one that can change myself and my reactions....and that I can't change the ones around me.

So...do you mind if I show-off for a minute and tell you about 9 things I am happy about this week?

It's Just A Picture So You Can Say Whatever You Want

For those who know the movie Precious, you'll definitely know the actresss Gabourey Sidibe as she is the girl who plays Precious. Many people had jokes about her weight; however when the award season arrived and the movie was in the spotlight, many were quick to smile and pretend like they had been true supporters from the beginning.

When award season was over, jokes were back in tact! Of course these were jokes about her weight (e.g. Howard Stern on his radio show). I must admit that watching a few Saturday Night Live skits about ''Precious'' were hilarious at the beginning...

How I Knew He Wasn't "The One"

I was browsing through my friend's issue of Glamour Magazine and saw an article called ''How I knew''. The article is mainly based on short essays by men on how they 'knew' certain things, such as 'How I Knew I'd Marry Her"...etc. My friend's issue had a post on "How I Knew She Wasn't The One" by Adam Sternbergh. He basically described how he knew that a certain woman was not The One until he eventually did meet the person who truly was 'The One'. It was pretty funny how he described most of the people, and ironically my friend then showed me another post by a girl who wrote a similar post to Sternbergh's. So........clearly out of my own boredom, and to continue this wonderful legacy of female empowerment until we find the right guy, I've decided to follow suit and write my own version of "How I Knew He Wasn't The One". :)

Piece of Your Heart

I have been having about five or so re-occurring conversations with my friends, acquaintances and just randoms who decide that they need to get something off their chest. BUT...the point is, I'm going to be sharing a few of these conversations in the months to come.

One conversation in particular was about relationships. This one is definitely for all you single guys and girls who want a LASTING relationship that could lead to marriage in the far/near future; so if "your thing" right now is to explore and have flings, you can press the 'X' at the right of the screen.
